Verity Tapered Column Alabaster Floor Lamp

The Verity Tapered Column Alabaster Floor Lamp pairs a gently narrowing stone column with a broad alabaster shade, resting on a slim brass disc. Small brass brackets frame the shade without interrupting the pale stone silhouette. When illuminated, the alabaster reveals its natural veining, giving the substantial column a softer presence.

Available in two closely scaled sizes, Verity brings ambient light to a sofa corner, an entry or a bedroom. Natural white stone and a Gold metal finish keep the material contrast restrained; choose the shade width in relation to the furniture beside it rather than treating the modest height difference as the main distinction.

The tapered column carries the shade above a low-profile disc base, creating a continuous vertical composition rather than an exposed metal pole. Veining and subtle tonal differences are inherent to the stone; the shade and column need not reproduce the exact markings shown in photographs.

Application:

Use the narrower version beside a slim chair or console, and the wider version beside a deep sofa or substantial armchair. Verity is intended for ambient lighting; pair it with a directional reading light where focused illumination is needed. Plan a clear, level position within reach of the selected outlet.

Installation & Notes:

• Setup: Plug-in installation; no ceiling or wall hardwiring is required. Select the appropriate plug version for the installation location.
• Dimming: The included LED bulb is dimmable. Use a compatible plug-in LED dimming control to adjust brightness; the foot switch provides on/off operation only.
• Placement & Handling: Set the lamp on a stable, level surface and keep the cord clear of walkways. Support the base and column when moving it; do not lift by the shade or brackets.
• Care: Switch off, unplug and allow the bulb to cool before dusting the stone and brass with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid water, sprays, abrasive cleaners, polish and stone sealers.
• Color Temperature Control: Adjust white-light color temperature using controls compatible with the supplied light source. Follow the supplied system's instructions; a standard wall dimmer should not be assumed to adjust color temperature.
