Odile Alabaster Cone Wall Sconce

The Odile Alabaster Cone Wall Sconce pairs a carved stone cone with a restrained brass arm and round backplate. A polished spherical joint connects the metalwork to the shade, leaving the natural alabaster as the principal visual element. When illuminated, the stone’s veining becomes part of the light rather than simply a surface pattern.

The single-light version carries one downward-pointing cone. The double-light version adds an opposing cone above the same joint, creating a balanced up-and-down silhouette. Both are finished in Gold with white alabaster and can be ordered individually or as a two-sconce set.

The simple disc backplate, straight arm, and rounded joint keep the metalwork visually subordinate to the cones. Each shade retains its own continuous veining, and the two shades on a double-light fixture may differ in tone and pattern.

Application:

The single-light model brings a downward accent beside a bed or along a wall, while the double-light model provides a more symmetrical feature for an entry or mirror surround in a suitable dry location. Allow for the 7.9-inch projection when planning circulation. This is decorative ambient lighting; a separate directional light is useful where concentrated reading light is required.

Installation & Notes:

• Professional Installation: Hardwired installation by a licensed electrician is required. Isolate power before wiring, assembly, or servicing.
• Mounting Position: Plan the single-light model with its cone pointing down and the double-light model with opposing cones. Allow clearance above and below the full fixture.
• Support & Handling: Secure the backplate to suitable support. Handle the fixture by its metalwork rather than using the alabaster cones as lifting points.
• Bulbs & Dimming: The included LED bulbs are dimmable. Use a compatible LED dimmer and replacement bulbs that match the installed socket and marked limits.
• Location: The IP20 rating is for indoor dry use, not exposure to water or persistent humidity. Keep the fixture away from showers and baths.
• Care: Switch off and let the fixture cool, then wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth. Do not soak the stone or apply cleaning sprays, abrasives, or metal polish to it.
• Color Temperature Control: Adjust white-light color temperature using controls compatible with the supplied light source. Follow the supplied system's instructions; a standard wall dimmer should not be assumed to adjust color temperature.
